Mr Antonas has allowed us to add his blog to our site by Syndication — I am sure anyone who Stumbles Upon or Site will find it great content-
My name is Steffan Antonas. In my 29 years, I’ve lived as far west as Sydney, Australia and as far east as Paris, France but I currently call San Diego, California home. This is my blog exploring how we live, work and connect with one another. I’m fascinated by how design choices, technological innovation, and the spread of ideas impacts change, and how community building and information sharing are helping us chart the course of our own evolution. These are the core themes of this blog. Although I don’t blog here every day, I actively participate in conversations around the web daily. I try to post here at least once or twice a week. Regardless of how you arrived at this page, welcome! I hope you stick around, and enjoy what you find.
A little more about me…
I was born on January 24th in Nassau, Bahamas, but I’ve spent the last fifteen years living, traveling and working abroad. After finishing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Boston University I had a brief (but enjoyable) stint at an internet marketing startup in Boston, and then moved to D.C. to pursue a masters degree in Communications, Culture and Technology at Georgetown University. It was at graduate school, when I began researching how people interact and communicate in virtual communities, that I developed an intense interest in information technology, human behavior and what it means to live a wired life. During the week I’m a cube monkey, but in my free time I read a ton, hang out with my amazing wife Jules, enjoy the San Diego sun as much as possible, and write as much as I can.

“This week we moved into our new offices in New York City. Among the highlights, is a giant wall of headlines. Richard Edelman gives us a tour.
There’s something about headlines that still gives me goosebumps. I hope that even in the age of streams, headlines don’t lose their punch.
Another noteworthy item in our new offices is a giant HP TouchsmartPC. I had a chance to play with it the other day and will shoot some video to share next week. (HP is an Edelman client.)!” Steve Rubel

” There are hundreds of quality bloggers in Pittsburgh. I dare say that I’d rather read them over the Pittsburgh Post Gazette writers. The local bloggers do have their fingers on the Pittsburgh Pulse because they’re actually out there doing the stuff. They’re attending meetings, town halls, debates, events and more. They’re not sitting in their office in Downtown Pittsburgh with their select press passes.
I’ll be the first to tell you that there is, and always be a place for newspaperjournalism. But bloggers are bloggers and should be accessible anyway.!” Posted by Andy Quayle September 3, 2009

The following essay is also my Forbes.com column for August. Media Companies Must Divide To Conquer The media is something that for most, if not all, of our adult lives, we have taken for granted. Media giants form the terra firma of the marketing industry, both its paid and earned disciplines. They provide the lifeblood of services and bring us the a […]
HP has come a long way from a tiny garage on Addison Avenue in Palo Alto where Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard took $538 in working capital and a Sears-Roebuck drill and built what is now the largest technology company in the world. When HP tasked Edelman Digital to build a website for its passionate [...] […]
Further examination of Apple's new social network reveals more problems. To review from last night's post: 1. It's awkward, at least, that it runs in iTunes and not a web browser. There's no Back button, no way to copy the address of a page and share it outside of iTunes. Also if it were just a website we'd be able to access […]

I’ll tell you one thing I know: the more you post, the more traffic you get. It’s helpful if the stuff you post is worth something. I try hard to make that always the case. Others don’t try as hard, and yet, their traffic climbs when they post more stuff. You can reply in the [...] […]
