louisgray.com: The Danger of Changing The Baseline

I am not a technically oriented person when it comes to Applications ! I think Louis Gray is touching on a very important point ! Know Your User-before you change ! I have and opinion that Micro Blogging has an uphill battle to stay around ! Some times 140 characters build a character not character ! Machine communication must abide by the rules of effective communication ! The application should be designed by people who understand semantics general semantics and mathematics ! Creating benefit is giving ,not taking away . I once suggested that a micro blogging application should be divided into streams of interest ! The user would get the benefit of the main stream free but could subscribe to a paid streams that interested them ! I read books ,if on my paid stream I discuss the anatomy of melancholy with other book twitterer’s I now I have a reason to use the service ! Anatomy of Melancholy is a book by Robert Burton, first published in 1621 ! It maybe be the original book on mental health ! I use twitter but follow only a few people who I feel have a content creation platform that is social in nature ! I follow Louis Gray on Tabbloid a free service from Hewlett Packard-tabbloid_2009-01-24_0901-louis-gray
MarshalSandler.com is a playground of ideas, introductions, and synergies. Marshal exhibits a blogging style that is less about tamping out his thoughts and more about the juggling, rearranging, juxtaposing, and syndicating of the content of other people and companies – a communications cubism of sorts. There’s no room for crap, but there is plenty of room for friendly people with interesting ideas. Marshal’s day is the search for new technologies, new ideas, new relationships, and new things to curse happily about. So, participate. Cut bait.
